Paula founded Velocebit, LLC. in 2006. Previously she was a founder and principal of Story & Roberts Associates, Inc. starting in 1990. Prior to that time, she was employed in the industry as a sales representative for a manufacturer's representation firm and also spent 13 years developing telecommunications software for firms such as Hughes Network Systems, Comsat Labs and General Instrument Corporation.

Paula has a BA from Towson State University, an MS in Communications from the University of Delaware and an MS in Telecommunications Systems from the Johns Hopkins University.
